PLC Member: Israel Executes 120 Palestinian Prisoners in Past 6 Years
RAMALLAH, March 10, 2007, (WAFA)-PLC member Issa Qaraqea' said that Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) had executed more than 120 Palestinian prisoners after being arrested during the past six years.
In a statement, Qaraqe'a said it is time to open this file on eve of the Israeli military and security disdain of the life of the prisoners, revealing that execution was carried out after being arrested and taken to detention centers.
He stated that prisoner Majdi Abu Zame'a and his companion were executed at the hand of an Israeli official after their arrest in light of kidnapping a bus 300 in the Gaza Strip in1984. In 1988, Israeli captain, Tsaimeh, director of Negev Israeli jail shot fire, in zero distance, at Asa'd al- Shawa and Bassam al-Somodi, while Majjedow jail's guards killed Nidal Deeb in 1989 and Abdulla Abu Mahrouqa in Ansar camp 2 in Gaza as well others.
Qaraqe'a unveiled that the IOF had committed field execution against prisoners and those what Israel called as "wanted" during al -Aqsa Intifada in 2000, where some were exposed to direct fire after the arrest or harassing the detainee until he meets his death or leaving the wounded bleeding to death.
He affirmed that the last liquidation and execution was carried by IOF in Jenin camp in March 1, 2007 when Israeli special units killed Ashraf al-Sa'di , Mohammed Abu Na'sa and Ala Breki.
Qaraqe'a called for opening the file of filed execution against prisoners and wanted as it is a war crime against humanity and Israel should shoulder legal responsibility as it is the occupying power.
