Whatever happened to you LJ account? I was enjoying reading your posts and then one day *poof*, gone. Glad I found this blog. Keep up the good work! Cheers.

Thank you, Jonah.

LJ wiped me off the net. I posted a New York Times David Brooks article in which I critised him. The NYT sent lawyers with a DMCA after LJ. They folded. Cowards.

Best,

Marc

Now, you are a Bush critic who speaks sensibly. Though pro-Bush, I agree with virtually everything you said. But, why should we lie in the background and let Russia and Great Britain tie up defense contracts as well as other economic interests in the Middle East, Central Asia, and Eastern Europe? Why should we sit back and let Iran's, Iraq's, and other Middle Eastern countries' citizens be brutalized through atrocious human rights violations? Why can't I as a world inhabitant marry an Iranian woman, Afghani, or the counterparts in other such Islamic countries in that country without she being stoned to death and I being otherwise executed? Why should we lie in wait while China monopolizes the production of all energy worldwide? Sorry, we cannot let it happen. But, I do believe that you have great media potential. I mean the very top.
