'The Americans are using the Iraqi western desert as nuclear waste dumps'

Iraq events: 27 Nov 2006

- Interviewed by alkhaleej newspaper, Secretary of Iraq Political Prisoners Union “Muhammed Adhem” said:

The Americans are using the Iraqi western desert as nuclear waste dumps in and from the southern city of Najaf to the Saudi borders, gradually turn Iraq into an “African” country suffers from drought, desertification, hunger and seasons overlapping.

- Alarabalyawm reporting via Iraqi human organization that 72% of Iraqi scientists are killed since the war stated.

- Aliraqnews reported the following:

According to sources close to the Interior Ministry that on the evening of 26 / 11 / 2006, American forces surrounded the building of the Ministry in search of Iranian nationality running seminars, they arrested 430 people of Iranian nationality at the ministry building and offices belong to the Ministry.

It will be recalled that the Prime Minister had signed a secret security agreements with the Iranian government for this purpose mentioned above.

- Iraqi Parliament will prevent the media from attending the meetings, started on Monday by banning reporters and preventing TV coverage. The spokesman said the government and parliament that this is part of the efforts which had been agreed upon recently by the National Security Council.

- Reuters report:

Iraq oil watchdog says $24.7 bln potential exports lost.

The general inspector’s office of the oil ministry said in a report that the main reason for dwindling oil production and exports was the failure to complete planned construction projects to expand Iraq’s output capacity.

[He can say it in one word…reconstruction]

But even if the production continues, don’t expect much, here is “Vincent Cable” LibDem Shadow Chancellor MP explains why:

News of Iraq’s decision to divert over $20bn of its own oil revenues into additional ‘reparations’ payouts to oil rich Gulf states…..Kuwait has already been compensated for property damage and loss of life caused by Saddam Hussein’s invasion but it apparently now wants more.
Multinational companies such as Bechtel, Halliburton and even Kentucky Fried Chicken are demanding vast sums, not for damage, but because Saddam Hussein war dented their profits.
It is outrageous that Tony Blair and Gordon Brown should acquiesce in such a corrupt and immoral system of payout.
